Not only does the remote control operate the motorised roof louvres, but it also controls the colour-changing LEDs that are integrated underneath the inside of the pergola roof frame structure. The sRGB LEDs can be adjusted to display a range of colours, including red, blue, green, white, yellow, turquoise, pink, and purple. These fantastic LEDs add a fabulous ambiance within the garden, not only meaning the pergola is suitable for use in rainy conditions but also at night, creating the ultimate outdoor experience.
The Eden pergola features a built-in drainage system, which prevents you from having to open the louvred roof to let water drain. Any rainwater that lands on the louvres flows into U-shaped channels. From here, the water flows from the roof and into channels in the pergola framework. Once in the horizontal framework, the rainwater will then flow into the inside of the hollow pergola legs and vertically out to the ground via a small opening at the base of each post leg. This genius system means that you’ll never see the water draining off of the pergola.
This particular pergola configuration is supplied with three privacy drop-side screens. The Eden screens are fixed within a cassette / side runners that are fixed within the pergola framework. These screens are built with the highest quality aluminium casing and screen fabric made from Textilene, a PVC coated woven polyester non-stretch yarn – it is unrivalled for strength and is also flame retardant, heat sealable, mildew resistant and stable under either hot or cold temperatures. These screens are manually pulled down from the top cassette and can be positioned at any height, rather than at certain points. Plus, at the bottom of each blind, there is a sliding lock to securely position the blind fully closed. We do recommend, in strong winds, that you fully open the blinds in order to protect them from any damage the wind may cause.
The grey louvre panel wall can be positioned on either 4m pergola sides and is supplied as three individual panels that join together to create a full wall. These static panels not only look stunning but still allow air to pass through for ventilation purposes. Made from toughened aluminium and powder coated to match the rest of the frame, they take the Eden Pergola to the next level. This item will require self-assembly, and full instructions on how to do this will be included with the product.
