Thick cushions grace the collection with expertly filled constructions that are then upholstered using Olefin fabric, which is a polyester and resin hybrid material specifically developed for outdoor use as it is not only UV resistant but it is also water repellent.
To create warmth and organic touch to the collection, FSC teak is used from Indonesia that is both sustainable in its source and high quality to give the robustness required for outdoor living. Teak is one of the few timbers that has naturally occurring oxide and tannins that protect it from the elements To give it a longer life.
We use only durable, easy-to-clean and weather-resistant materials such as aluminium, Textilene, teak and wicker. All-natural materials may discolour over time, and although all SUNS products have been designed to be able to be left outside year-round, they will last longer if you place them indoors in the periods when you are not using them. If you want to wash the cushions, please read the washing instructions first. SUNS water repellent cushions repel the water, but when exposed to water for a long time the inside of the cushion may still get wet. You should preferably store these cushions in a dry location as well.
