We hope you’ll never need to use your warranty, but you’ll find all the details outlined below. If you do ever need to make a claim, simply contact us, providing your proof of purchase. Once we’ve checked your warranty registration, we’ll guide you through the next steps and get everything sorted.

Legalities

  •          GF EUROPEAN EXPORTS LTD reserves the right to attempt a repair, where possible, before offering a replacement.
  •          If a replacement of the same or similar design is not available, GF EUROPEAN EXPORTS LTD
             may offer a partial refund in line with our diminishing warranty policy outlined below.
  •          GF EUROPEAN EXPORTS LTD may request photos or videos of the issue to help us assess and diagnose the problem accurately.
  •          GF EUROPEAN EXPORTS LTD may ask questions regarding the handling, care,
             and maintenance of the product to determine whether the issue is due to a manufacturing defect.
  •          Our warranty is valid within the mainland only and begins from the date of delivery. Items sold on to third parties are not covered.
  •          Products purchased through third-party retailers are not covered under our guarantee; please contact the retailer directly.
  •          Our 2, 3, 5, and 7-year warranties are only valid if the warranty has been registered by the customer; this must be done within 28 days of receiving delivery.
  •          If a warranty has not been registered, the manufacturer’s guarantee is limited to 12 months from the date of delivery.
  •          Complimentary or free items included with an order are not covered under any warranty.

What the warranty does not cover

  •        Any parts that have been changed or adapted by the customer.
  •        Normal wear and tear (dents, scratches, discolouration).
  •        Accidental damage to glass.
  •        Cushions, e.g. zips, cushion inserts/covers

Rattan is a flexible material, so you may notice some natural sagging during warmer weather. This is normal, and it will typically return to its original shape once temperatures cool. However, rattan can become damaged or melt if exposed to extreme heat sources or intense magnification from sunlight. Because this type of damage is caused by external environmental factors, it is not covered under our guarantee.

  •        Ex-display furniture that was bought and sold as seen
  •        Any additional elements that we have added to the furniture to improve the overall aesthetics of the piece,
           but do not directly impact the look or structural integrity of the product.
  •        Any free covers or free items that were complimentary with the product.
  •        If fitting instructions have not been followed correctly causing the structure to be weakened.
  •        If care and maintenance guides are not followed, we would class this as neglect and therefore not covered by the guarantee.
  •        Pergolas must be bolted to the floor in order to have a valid warranty.
  •        The guarantee is not applicable for commercial use.

  • Range Specific Warranty Details
    Our Oxford and Winchester plus general rattan ranges come with a 1-2 year warranty. Only the Montana- Fiji weaves come with 5 years warranty when registered. This warranty covers the structural frame and any issues we identify as manufacturing defects. Where applicable, we can provide replacement feet, suction pads for the glass tops, and in some cases, replacement weave, should you wish to carry out a repair yourself.

    Please note that the Oxford and Winchester & General site-wise storage boxes are not fully waterproof. As a result, any items stored inside are not covered for water damage under our guarantee.

    Glass components are not covered for accidental damage, including instances where the glass is dropped or an object is dropped onto it. We also recommend keeping glass surfaces shaded during periods of extreme heat, as this can help prevent heat-related stress or potential shattering

  • Aluminium Garden Furniture
    Our aluminium garden furniture is designed with durability and long-lasting performance in mind. Your purchase is covered by our standard warranty (length depending on the specific range and registration), the structural warranty does not cover scratches, flaking of the powder coated layer, we can provide touch up paint for these instances for you to carry out a repair.

    Some items within this collection include hydraulic mechanisms. These components are covered for 1 year from the date of delivery. After the first year, replacement hydraulics may still be available; however, these will be chargeable as they fall outside of the standard warranty period.

    All cushions website wide are covered by a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Fabric Garden Furniture
    Our fabric garden furniture is protected by a 2- 5 year warranty. Please consult which rangees cover by which time period, are provideds, provided the warranty has been registered. This covers the structural frame and any faults we identify as manufacturing defects. Please note that cosmetic issues such as scratches or peeling paint are not included; however, we can supply touch-up paint should you wish to carry out minor repairs yourself.

    The fabric components are covered by a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, which applies only to defects resulting from the production process. This warranty does not cover issues caused by improper care, neglect, or environmental factors, including mildew, dirt, or staining. Although the fabric features stain-resistant properties, it should still be cleaned promptly using suitable cleaning products. Damage caused by using incorrect cleaning agents or abrasive materials is not covered under the warranty.

    To help keep your set looking its best, we recommend regular cleaning using a jet wash on a low-pressure setting, ensuring you keep a safe distance to avoid water marks. You can also clean the fabric with warm,  soapy water or our Maze fabric cleaning kit. For added protection during the winter months, we also advise using the free winter cover included with your set.

  • Rope Weave Garden Furniture
    Our rope weave furniture collection is built around a durable aluminium frame, and the structural elements are covered under our standard warranty (length depending on the specific range and registration). This includes coverage for any faults we confirm to be manufacturing defects.

    Please note that the rope detailing is not covered for splits, fraying, or cuts, as these are considered accidental or external damage and cannot be replaced or repaired under the warranty.

    The cushions supplied with these sets are SeasonSure cushions, designed to handle light weather exposure; however, they are not covered under the warranty for issues such as mould, mildew, or water damage. To ensure their longevity, we recommend storing cushions in dry conditions when not in use.

  • Wooden Garden Furniture
    Our wooden furniture collections—including Bali, Martinique, Porto, and Jakarta—are protected by a guarantee that covers only the structural frame of each piece, ensuring the core stability and integrity of the furniture. Natural characteristics of wood, such as cracking, splitting, movement, or colour changes caused by seasonal expansion and contraction, are expected and therefore not covered under this guarantee, as they do not affect the structural soundness of the product. Guarantee registration must be completed within 28 days of delivery, and all claims must relate to genuine material defects. We reserve the right to assess and determine whether a repair, replacement part, or alternative resolution is appropriate. Damage resulting from improper maintenance, misuse, the use of covers, or environmental exposure falls outside the scope of the guarantee.

  • Pergolas
    Our 2-5 year guarantees on  Pergolas cover defects in the material during normal use within the warranty period. All our pergola accessories screens are only covered for 1-2 year.

    The warranty does not cover natural wear and tear. The guarantee does not cover damage from extreme weather conditions, such as storm damage, high winds, or storm damage. The warranty does not cover pergolas that have been incorrectly installed or tampered with against the instruction manual. All the Pergolas must be bolted to the ground sufficiently to ensure they are covered by warranty. Pergolas that are not stated as ‘Wall Mounted’ should not be mounted to any property – this will void the warranty

    These guarantees are in addition to, and does not affect, your legal rights in relation to the Goods that are faulty or not as described. All products will be provided in accordance with the contract. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

  • Firepits
    Our firepit systems are designed for safe and enjoyable outdoor use. The burner system is covered by a 1-year warranty, which applies to faults identified as manufacturing defects.

    Please note that the firepit tray is not covered for damage caused by cooking, misuse, or any other external factors. Firepits should always be covered when not in use to prevent the lava rocks or ceramic stones from getting wet. If the rocks absorb water, they may pop or crack when the firepit is lit, which can also cause damage to surrounding components. Any damage resulting from this will not be covered under the guarantee.

  • Parasols
    Our parasols come with a 1-year warranty, which covers faults identified as manufacturing defects.

    Please note that parasol damage caused by wind, adverse weather, or improper use is not covered under the warranty. To prevent wind-related damage, we strongly recommend ensuring the parasol is fully closed and secured when not in use, and never left open during windy or unstable weather conditions.

  • Covers

    Our winter covers come with a 1-year warranty, which specifically covers tears or faults occurring at the seams.

    Please note that fading caused by sunlight exposure is a natural effect and is not covered under the warranty. Winter covers should also never be used on wooden furniture, as trapped moisture can damage the wood.
    Cushions should not be stored underneath the cover. They must be kept in a dry, ventilated location to prevent mould or moisture damage.
    Our winter covers are not fully waterproof. Their primary purpose is to protect your furniture’s frame from dust, dirt, and light debris, rather than to provide complete weatherproofing.
  • Kitchens
    Our outdoor kitchen range is protected by a 1-2-year warranty covering the structural components and any faults deemed to be manufacturing defects.
    Please note the following warranty periods for specific components:
    Electrical components – 1 year
    Gas BBQ grill – 1 year
