🛋️ Fabric & Cushion Care

All-Weather Fabric Furniture

Our premium outdoor fabric sets are engineered to stay outside 365 days a year. If your set collects dirt or mild environmental surface mould over the winter months, it is incredibly easy to clean.

• Standard Cleaning: Simply wash the fabric using a pressure washer on a soft/low setting (keep a safe distance) to rinse away surface dirt.
• For Stubborn Stains: Clean the area immediately using a cloth and a mixture of soap and water.
• Drying: Allow the sofa to air dry naturally. Drying times vary depending on weather conditions, humidity, and direct sunlight.

Standard Cushion Care (Rope Weave, Rattan, & Traditional Ranges)

• Washing: Hand wash cushions using a clean cloth, warm water, and mild soap. Our cushions are not machine washable and cannot be tumble dried.
• Storage Warning: Always store cushions in a dry, protected indoor location when not in use. Do not store cushions underneath a winter protective cover, as trapped condensation will cause permanent water staining and mildew.

Aluminium Frames

Our high-quality welded aluminium frames are completely rust-proof, but they will collect dust if left exposed outside or kept in storage over winter.

• Cleaning: Use a soft sponge and warm, soapy water to wipe away dirt. Rinse with clean water. The frames are non-porous and will dry naturally within an hour.

Rope Weave

• Cleaning: Simply use a soft sponge and warm, soapy water to gently scrub away dust and debris. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.

🪵 Reclaimed & Premium Wooden Furniture

Our wooden furniture collections (including Bali, Martinique, and Porto) feature a light protective PU coating.

• Understand the Nature of Wood: Wood is a living, natural material. Over time, it will naturally contract and expand with changes in temperature, which may cause minor surface cracks or splits to develop. This is normal and does not compromise the structural strength or durability of your furniture.
• Regular Maintenance: Wipe down the timber with a damp cloth regularly. For optimal protection against weathering, we highly recommend using the specialised Maze Wood Garden Furniture Cleaning & Protector Kit.
• Seasonal Care: Apply wood protector periodically. Apply in Autumn to shield the timber from harsh winter frost, and again in Spring to protect the wood from intense summer UV rays.
• Avoid Furniture Covers: We do not recommend using winter covers over wooden furniture. Trapped moisture beneath a cover can cause wood to warp or rot. Regular cleaning and seasonal sealing are all that is required.
• Natural Colour Ageing: Untreated or weathered wood will undergo a natural ageing process when exposed to sunlight, gradually turning a handsome, classic silvery-grey character tone.

🔮 Ceramic & Tempered Glass Care

• Cleaning: Glass and ceramic tops exposed to changing weather elements will naturally collect dust and mild environmental film. Wipe down using a warm, soapy cloth. Follow immediately with a separate, damp lint-free cloth to polish the finish to a streak-free shine.

⚠️ CRITICAL DIRECT SUNLIGHT WARNING:
Never leave reflective glass objects (such as wine glasses, water bottles, or magnifying ornaments) sitting on your table in direct, intense sunlight. These objects can act as a magnifying glass, concentrating heat rays onto the underlying frame and causing localised burn damage to the synthetic rattan weave.

¼️ Synthetic PE Rattan Care

• Cleaning: Remove your cushions at least once a year. Brush the weave down with a soft-bristled brush to clear away leaves and organic debris. Wash down the entire frame using a garden hose and a soft sponge with warm, soapy water.
• Expansion & Contraction: Our premium PE rattan is designed to flex naturally with weather changes. In high summer heat, the strands will expand slightly to prevent tension snapping, and will contract cleanly back to their original tight state during cooler winter temperatures.
• Handwoven Variations: Because our premium rattan sets are meticulously woven entirely by hand, no two pieces are 100% identical. The strands feature subtle variations in colour, thickness, and shading pattern. Your set may subtly shift in tone depending on the time of day—looking slightly grey and crisp in morning light, and showing warm, rich beige tones under the afternoon sun.

Can my furniture be left outside all year round?

Yes, all of our structural furniture frames can be left outside 365 days a year. However, to protect your investment from heavy winter debris and bird droppings, we highly recommend purchasing one of our custom-fit Winter Protective Covers. (Remember: Always remove and store cushions indoors before fitting your winter cover).

Do your products fade in the sunlight?

Our premium PE rattan and fabric ranges are manufactured with integrated UV stabilisers to actively prevent fading and sun damage. However, during the most intense, scorching summer months, utilising a parasol or garden shade structure when the furniture is not in use will significantly extend the vibrant lifespan of your fabrics.

Is the furniture delivered fully assembled?

Many of our luxury configurations are delivered fully assembled because they utilise incredibly strong, fully welded structural aluminium internal frames. The only components that typically require light structural assembly upon delivery are our dining tables, parasols, and modular storage boxes.

Do you use safe glass?

Yes. We confirm that 100% of the glass elements across all of our dining and coffee tables utilise certified tempered safety glass for your absolute peace of mind.

How do your Rising Tables work?

Our versatile dual-height rising tables are engineered with a minimalist, heavy-duty layout to avoid complex moving parts that could break over time. Depending on the specific model you choose, they feature either a seamless manual lock-in/lock-out mechanism or an effortless hydraulic gas-lift lever system to transition from coffee table to dining table heights.

🪑 Furniture Assembly Levels

• Fully Assembled Sets: Many of our luxury ranges are delivered completely ready to use. This includes all of our synthetic PE Rattan sofas, rattan armchairs, and the vast majority of our outdoor dining chairs.
• Minimal Assembly Required: To ensure safe transport and prevent damage, our outdoor dining tables are shipped flat-packed and require the legs to be securely attached upon arrival. Select cushion storage boxes may also require straightforward home assembly.
• Full Assembly Required: All garden pergolas and louvred gazebos are delivered flat-packed and require complete structural assembly.

⛱️ Parasols & Replacement Canopies

• Our replacement parasol canopies are manufactured specifically to fit our distinct frames and are not universal.
• We are unable to provide advice or sizing compatibility for parasol frames purchased from external retailers, as we cannot guarantee an exact fit.

🔥 Gas Products (BBQs, Fire Pits, & Patio Heaters)

• All gas-powered appliances arrive complete with a heavy-duty gas tube attached, ready for immediate connection.
• Please Note: Local gas regulators are not included, as regulator fittings vary by country or gas supplier type. Connecting your local regulator to our pre-installed tube is a simple, standard process. If you require any technical assistance, our support team is happy to guide you.
